“Maybe you’ve been left feeling a little lacklustre by recent times – perhaps your old self has gone AWOL and you’ve forgotten what truly lights you up. But you’ve been dreaming of stepping away from your day-to-day and yearning for some freedom to just be YOU.”

… you crave adventure, spontaneity, wild seascapes, movement, SUNSHINE, and – above all else – time to find your own rhythm! Well this is it – a chance to reconnect with yourself, “let your hair down” and allow yourself to go with the flow, along with like-minded souls.

“What is it that you want do do with your one wild precious life?”

Mary Oliver’s words are a constant reminder that life is a gift to be seized with both hands. And this retreat – presenting a contemporary approach to wellbeing – offers you a little nudge! You’ll be immersed in conscious living to rekindle your most intuitive creative and vibrant self; your TRUE SELF!

You can expect soulful movement, soundscapes, mindfulness, amity and adventure, interwoven to create a magical experience for anyone who values the preciousness of each and every day.

If I close my eyes, I’m already there….
a warm breeze catches my face and kisses my lips with tiny salt-crystals, reminding me the sea is just below me. Aegean blue extends all around – as far as the eye can see – and, at its furthest edge, blurs into the cerulean sky.

This is the slow lane…

Away from the hustle and bustle of the port – where ferries arrive with essential supplies – there is a hushed calm; here there is time to cradle your first coffee and savour it in small sips, knowing that the day is all yours, stretching out ahead of you, full of possibilities.

Space to relax, breathe, and reawaken dreams of what will set your soul on fire.

This place has its very own rhythm and October is such a special month – the summer visitors have long gone yet the sea is at its warmest and there is a sense of peace as the island slows down.

On this intimate Greek retreat, you will always be invited to start the day with yoga; afterwards, you may wish to hike the old mule trails – seeking out a remote beach or discovering a mountain chapel…

Or, you could stay by the pool with a book – the choice is entirely yours!

This is your space to figure out what you need without the constraints of rigid schedules or enforced anything!

One of my favourite lazy-day past-times is heading to a café and watching the locals as they earnestly discuss; their energy, warmth and welcoming curiosity is infectious. I too am endlessly curious about these Islanders; they are blessed with more than just plentiful sunshine…they truly know how to live well.

Space to pause, reflect, and plan out a life you want to lead!

It will be a week of going with the flow – syncing with nature, the moods of the island and the energy of the group. If you are ready to open your heart to something less scripted and embrace spontaneity, then this is for you. I’ll encourage you to go at your own pace, guided by how you feel, day-to-day.

This retreat is thoughtfully designed to help you put yourself back at the top of your own priority list- we’re nourishing your mind, body and soul so you can satisfy your ambition and accomplish your goals, without burning yourself out in the process.

What can I expect from this retreat?

You can expect a safe space, free from the expectations and busy pace of your everyday life. Think long morning flows, followed by brunch – a feast of simply prepared dishes showcasing local ingredients and cuisine. Then there will be plenty of time to explore the island, whether hiking up to Profitis Ilias, which offers breath-taking views all around, sailing to a neighbouring island or wandering amongst the olive groves and fig trees that surround our villas.

We’ll gather again towards sunset for an evening practice and maybe some journaling or just quiet contemplation. Then, as the sun goes down, it will be time for dinner where Greek flavours and culture combine; gathering to share food is an essential part of Mediterranean life. Mealtimes are about creating community, sharing with generosity and delighting in the simple pleasure of delicious food. Warm evenings always seem to invite us to carry on, maybe to chat on the rooftop terrace, take an evening stroll or brave a late dip in the pool!

What’s for sure, is this will be a week of togetherness; practising yoga, eating nourishing food, having island adventures, lazing by the pools, laughing and sharing stories as we soak up the sun and the incredible views!

You will be warmly welcomed, whatever your size, age, background or yoga experience – I simply ask that you bring an open-mind, a considerate nature and a kind soul.

The space

Nestled on the southern slopes of Antiparos is a cluster of loving restored traditional Cycladic homes and a windmill! Their understatedly chic interiors retain charming character, whilst feeling modern, comfortable and homely. From their elevated position, we’ll enjoy uninterrupted views of the archipelago as well as the uninhabited island of Despotika, with its ancient ruins and pristine beaches. There are 3 beautiful pools and plenty of space for sun-loungers and outdoor living as well as an odd hammock or two!

Each villa is unique and the rooms too each have distinctive charm.

Payment plans are available and will enable you to spread your cost across monthly instalments

Nourish

You can expect a week of the most heavenly food all prepared with love by experienced retreat chef, Afendula Kaltsidi; her love of the natural world and knowledge of the healing properties of food shines out in everything she prepares.

Afendula takes an ingenious approach towards combining her love of modern, plant-based nourishment with her knowledge of traditional Greek dishes.  We share a very similar food philosophy – we both value the importance of using local, fresh produce, to create special feasts at every mealtime!
