Sunday is the day of the week I am most tempted to “play truant” from my mat, especially in the autumn, when frequently I’ll have returned from the fells feeling cold!  I’ll stand in the shower for ages – the warm up – and then, if I make it to my mat, it will be a short-lived affair, as am lured away by the sound of my coffee-machine chortling into life!

But, when I do make a proper effort, the week that follows always feels different; certainly there’s a huge physical benefit in getting that practice in but also, when I allow myself some proper time to go inwards and find a slower pace, without agenda, I find that my practice can literally unfold. Being outdoors is what helps me find reconnection each week, but it is getting on my mat that helps me focus my inspiration and joy so that I can greet my week ahead with a sense of purpose.

So, long story short, the idea for Sunday Vibe was born; this will be an unscripted, flow class to “set you up” both physically and emotionally for the week ahead.
