Pea Hummus

Here is a delicious alternative to hummus; it is Paleo friendly as it uses garden peas in place of chickpeas and is lower in caloriesĀ for those with weight-loss goals.

50g almonds, finely ground
1 small garlic clove (crushed)
handful of mint, chopped
2 tbsps. tahini
A little squeeze of lemon juice
Sea-salt and black pepper to taste

Whizz the chilli for a couple of seconds in your food processor and then add all other ingredients and blend until smooth. Serve on a bed of rocket with some broken walnuts.
