This 8-week series will take you through carefully curated sequences that will draw you into a state of flow. We’ll always start by aligning breath with movement, then we’ll begin opening and moving through fluid flows. Each class will unfold in an arc – warming to dynamic and then finally to stillness; this combination resets our nervous system and promotes deep rest. Through the eight weeks we’ll also be using Essential Oils. The oils I’ve chosen to work with will all help to bring us back to a calm and centred state and they will be woven into my teachings. These oils are recommended yet, of course, optional. Dynamic Flow an online teaching space, for those wishing to take their practice further. In these classes you can expect creative transitions that link poses that build strength, balance and grace. We'll work at a steady pace, throughout the class, keeping you firmly in the present moment and encouraging you to explore bold, new movements. Inspired by the strength of Ashtanga yoga and infused with Sarah’s deep love of dance this is a high-energy class with a soulful heart. This is my invitation to you, to join me in my home studio for a creative practice suitable for all levels. I'll share my personal morning flows of the week, which always reflects my Ashtanga roots. With a different emphasis each week, I'll be offering you a "straight to it" practice to get your day off to a good start. This is a 50-60 minute class, which normally starts at 8am, although the time can be varied to suit participants. In this intimate space we’ll share a calming practice and experience the uplifting power of moving with our breath in a way that feels unhurried and easeful. This special offering is an invitation to expand your own capacity for self-care; we’ll reflect on our journey through this year and acknowledge our resilience and resourcefulness as well as everything we’ve brought to fruition. Poetry in Motion is taught progressively across a block of 5 classes and offers a small teaching container for those wishing to take their practice further. You are welcome to attend on a drop-in basis or you can book drop-in passes here. Autumn is a time for reflection and turning inwards so this next block will offer an immersive practice of intricate flows; weaving in delicate transitions that take us around our mat in ways we don't always expect. If you love to get lost in movement - that feels beautifully fluid and seamless - then this series is for you. Dynamic Flow is taught progressively and is truly for yogis who wish to take their practice further. You can use these passes to attend any session this autumn. Alternatively you can attend on a drop-in basis; you can book individual sessions here. Looking for feel-good movement that builds strength and brings a little calm into your week? Then this is it! These uplifting and often playful classes creatively blend Yoga with other movement modalities, whilst seamlessly linking breath with movement. You’ll be met exactly where you are – without any pressure to contort into specific shapes or poses! Instead, Sarah encourages awareness over “achievement” and will guide you towards moving and flowing in a way that feels right for you. It’s true, her sequences can be challenging; shifting tempos, bold moves and creative transitions may take you to your edge, yet effort is balanced with steadiness and ease to make classes feel both inspiring and accessible. It is this combination of intentional movement – to keep you fully present – followed by space to rest, that helps restore mind/body connection and reset our nervous system. The summer solstice always feels so special to me – a combination of long days and incredible luminosity create a high-vibe. Early summer warmth is the best too; before the sultry heat of late summer, the long days of June are made for a more dynamic practice! This special solstice flow will take you on a movement journey of fluid sequences and breathwork, with an energising soundscape to ensure you leave feeling truly uplifted. We'll acknowledge this mid-point in the year with gratitude for all the positives that have brought us this far. Then we’ll take time to recommit to ourselves, so our enthusiasm stays strong as the year starts to ebb. -
